Projects include high-rise residential towers, commercial office buildings, and public sector developments (education, healthcare, government buildings, high-performance façades for energy-efficient buildings) with headquarters based in SE London.
The Role - Quantity Surveyor
My client is looking to appoint an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join the team on a hybrid working basis (2 days from home). Working closely with the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for:
- Commercial aspects of cladding and façade projects, including cost planning, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Managing variations, valuations, and final accounts.
- Applying technical knowledge of cladding systems and regulatory requirements.
- Adapting commercial strategies to maintain programme and protect margins.
- Negotiating with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Monitoring and managing project risks, implementing measures to control costs and mitigate potential issues.
This role offers the opportunity to lead on complex façade projects, with strong career progression.
