About the Role: Prospero Teaching is excited to announce opportunities for dedicated and passionate graduates to join a secondary school in the Knowsley area. As one of the fastest growing agencies in the UK, we are looking for reliable and enthusiastic individuals to inspire students.
Location: Knowsley, L36
Start Date: September 2026
Contract Type: Temporary, Long Term
Working Hours: Full-time, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
Pay: Paid to scale
Responsibilities:
- Behaviour management: Foster a positive learning environment with good behaviour management.
- Providing emotional support: Offering guidance and support to students who may be dealing with personal issues or stress.
- Monitoring well-being: Keeping an eye on students' overall well-being and reporting any concerns to the appropriate staff members.
- Safeguarding: Ensuring the safeguarding procedure is followed when required.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teachers to ensure lessons run smoothly and students thrive academically and socially.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children.
- Right to Work in the UK.
- Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or willingness to apply for a new one.
- Provide at least two professional references covering at least 24 months/cover the last 2 years.
