HSE Recruitment are working with a large manufacturing company in Kidderminster to find a Graduate or recent graduate level Process Safety Advisor to join their team as they go through a period of growth. Please note due to security requirements you must have lived in the UK for the last 5 years and not be out of the UK for more than 6 weeks at a time within this period.

Working under the Process Safety Manager you will support on improving legacy processes as well as new ones, helping to maintain ongoing risk controls. Specific training will be given as required and consideration will be given towards using this as a development role if you have the right background.

Qualifications
  • Degree level qualification in a science or engineering subject (STEM) such as chemical engineering
  • Process Safety Qualification or willing to work towards
  • Experience in a hazardous or chemical manufacturing with some understanding of Process Hazard Analysis techniques (HAZOP, PFMEA, LOPA, etc.)
Person Specification
  • Strong communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage own time and prioritise tasks
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to make balanced and evidence-based judgements and decisions
  • Able to articulate complex issues and provide overview of salient points to all business levels.

The salary for this role ranges from 28,000-43,000 DOE.
