Responsibilities
- Preparing accounts and tax computations for a diverse range of companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
- Reporting directly to your director or client manager, ensuring smooth communication.
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns accurately and on time.
- Assisting with ad‑hoc bookkeeping tasks using software such as Sage 50 and Xero.
- Attending meetings and managing client queries professionally.
- Supporting junior team members with their workload.
Requirements
- At least 2 years’ experience working within practice environments.
- Strong team‑working skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
