Position: Tutor – Gloucester – Start Date: September 2026 – Salary: £25.00 - £45.00 per hour.

Are you a qualified Tutor with QTS and proven experience delivering high quality tuition? Do you have experience working with pupils through Alternative Provision or alongside the Local Authority? Are you looking for a flexible tutoring role supporting students outside of mainstream education from September 2026?

The service is looking to take on an experienced Tutor on a part‑time basis, offering up to 15 hours per week from September 2026. The successful Tutor will work closely with the Local Authority to deliver structured, well‑planned sessions, supporting pupils accessing education through Alternative Provision and ensuring consistent progress through tailored learning.

Qualifications and Experience
  • QTS
  • Proven experience delivering tuition and planning engaging sessions
  • Experience working within Alternative Provision or with the Local Authority
  • Strong ability to differentiate learning to meet individual needs
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A patient, adaptable and proactive approach
