HGV Class 1 night driver, needed in Gloucester, paying £17.71 per hour with annual leave on top. Ongoing work Tuesday to Saturday, starting between 00:00-03:00am and finishing around 12:00-14:00pm. Free on‑site parking optional. This role will include store deliveries and 3‑8 drops with handballing of cages required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and deliver goods driving a Class 1 (Cat C E) vehicle
  • Complete delivery notes and paperwork accurately
  • Represent the company professionally with a positive attitude
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy
  • Always deliver excellent customer service

What We’re Looking For

  • Hold a full, in‑date UK Class 1 (Cat C E) driving licence
  • Hold a valid, in‑date CPC and Digital Tachograph card
  • Positive & professional ‘can‑do’ attitude with customers
  • Be a team player and take pride in keeping trucks clean & tidy
  • Maximum of 9 points for minor endorsements
  • Over the age of 21 (insurance purposes)
  • Able to pass company induction, including: Theory test & Walk‑round checks, Driving & reversing assessments
