Join our client’s reputable commercial vehicle team as an HGV Technician in Gloucester. Our client, a leading dealer group with multiple centres across Southwest England, is looking for a dedicated HGV Technician to join their busy workshop in Gloucester.

Duties

  • Carry out all service and maintenance work to the highest standards within manufacturer timeframes
  • Conduct accurate diagnosis and repairs of all malfunctions
  • Support colleagues with technical issues and innovations
  • Document diagnostics, repairs, services, and safety inspections thoroughly
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, health and safety regulations
  • Contribute to maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through quality workmanship
  • Work effectively within a busy workshop environment, supporting the team to achieve targets

Requirements

  • Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Several years post-qualification experience as an HGV technician
  • Strong diagnostic skills and ability to perform complex repairs
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced workshop
  • Good team player with a professional approach to customer service
  • Motivated to achieve targets and maintain high standards
  • Individuals with an active HGV driving licence will be highly advantageous but are not essential
