An International, not-for-profit, inter-governmental organisation based in South Oxfordshire is seeking a Finance Director.
Responsibilities
- Deliver world‑class financial services and provide strategic financial insight across the organisation.
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of global financial services, including Purchase to Pay, Order to Cash, Record to Report, Treasury, Tax, Internal and External Audit.
- Ensure the integrity and timeliness of monthly financial reporting, production of annual financial statements, and management of external audit processes.
- Lead a high‑performing, globally distributed finance team and foster a collaborative, inclusive culture.
- Standardise, scale, and continuously improve finance processes, maintaining strong internal controls and regulatory compliance.
- Provide business partnering and strategic financial support to enable informed decision‑making, drive financial performance, and support organisational objectives.
Qualifications
- Qualified accountant with experience leading large multicultural and geographically dispersed finance teams.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems, including advanced Excel skills and ERP systems.
- Experience in a global or matrix multinational organisation.
- Strong relationship‑building skills, strategic thinking, problem‑solving, decision‑making abilities, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
