This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join a growing team working across both new development and ongoing support activities. You will play a key role in delivering electrical and electronic engineering solutions from concept through to commissioning.

The role combines design, technical support, and project delivery, with regular collaboration across production, supply chain, project management, and wider engineering teams.

This position requires a practical engineer who is comfortable balancing technical detail with wider project objectives.

Key responsibilities:
  • You will deliver electrical and electronic design solutions for new and existing systems, support technical investigations and engineering change activity, and produce calculations, technical documentation, bills of materials, and component specifications.
  • You will also prepare and review test procedures, reports, assembly documentation, and manufacturing drawings, ensuring all designs meet relevant standards, regulations, and internal processes.

Skills and experience:
  • You should have proven experience in electrical and electronic system design, with a strong background in electrical engineering calculations and practical project delivery.
  • Experience with PLC programming and IEC languages would be beneficial, along with competence using engineering design and CAD tools.
  • A good understanding of electrical standards and compliance requirements is essential, as is experience working with high‑ and low‑voltage systems, power distribution, cable and component selection, and battery‑powered or energy‑storage systems.
  • Experience in regulated environments such as marine, defence, industrial, or similar sectors would be advantageous, as would familiarity with PLM systems.
  • A degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or equivalent industry experience, is required.
About you:
