The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 £ per year.

Location: South Lanarkshire (commutable from Glasgow, Paisley, East Kilbride, Cumbernauld, Livingston & surrounding areas).

Shift pattern: days (06:00-14:00), backs (14:00-22:00), nights (22:00-06:00).

Quality Inspectors are responsible for inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. They’ll also create first-offs, review process setups and ensure products meet or exceed customer specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed inspections of products using AQL criteria and any relevant documentation e.g. Procedure Sheets.
  • Ensure that all inspections are carried out in compliance with customer-specific requirements, quality standards, and industry regulations.
  • Check product dimensions, surface finishes, colour consistency, functionality, and other quality parameters to ensure conformity to specifications.
  • Work closely with the production team to review and validate process setups, ensuring proper adjustments are made to meet quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with the team lead and other departments regarding first-off results and any adjustments required during the production process.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth operations and to promptly address any quality concerns identified during the inspection process.

Experience required

  • Basic knowledge of measurement tools (e.g., callipers, micrometers, gauges) and the ability to use them accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to detect defects or deviations from quality standards.
