Our client is a well-established and growing materials-handling business supporting customers across Scotland with industry-leading equipment. You’ll work across a local territory with paid door-to-door travel, no weekend rota, and the backing of an experienced technical team. This is a long-term opportunity with a stable business that values good engineers and gives them the freedom to do what they do best.
The Role
As part of the mobile engineering team, you’ll be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing a range of forklifts, heavy equipment and specialist materials-handling machinery across customer sites in either Glasgow or Ayrshire. You’ll manage your own workload and schedule while building strong relationships with long-standing customers across your local patch.

Full product training can be provided for engineers coming from transferable heavy mechanical backgrounds.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Experience working on hydraulics, engines, transmissions, braking systems and electrics
- Comfortable working independently in a mobile role
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
