Your new company: You'll be joining a leading Tier 1 main contractor with a strong UK presence and a long-standing reputation for delivering complex, high-value projects across defence, infrastructure and the built environment. The business is known for its robust project controls, collaborative culture and commitment to safety, quality and staff development.

Your new role: As M&E Site Manager, you will play a key role in the delivery of a scheme valued at circa £50m, working with a busy public sector client. Working closely with the Project Manager and wider site team, you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day management of all mechanical and electrical works on site. This will include coordinating subcontractors, managing short‑term programmes, overseeing quality and commissioning activities, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to specification in a constrained, highly regulated environment.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Proven experience as an M&E Site Manager on large‑scale construction projects, ideally within defence, healthcare, residential or other complex environments
  • Strong working knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services
  • Experience managing specialist M&E subcontractors and coordinating interfaces with main works
  • A solid understanding of health & safety, quality assurance and commissioning processes
  • SMSTS and relevant CSCS certification (or equivalent)
  • Ability to work effectively within a secure site environment and comply with strict procedures
