As part of our expansion, we are seeking to recruit a Time Served Turner. The selected candidate will join a team dedicated to manufacturing high‑quality components for a range of industries, including aerospace, utilities, and food and drink.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a manual turner
- Competence in setting and operating manual machines
- Proficiency in the use of hand tools and mechanical equipment
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and work independently
- Produce high‑quality parts to close tolerances
- Quality inspection and documentation of own parts
- Ability to work as part of a small team using own initiative
- Experience in manual milling or toolmaking is advantageous
- Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent time‑served qualification
There are opportunities for professional development, including training in CNC programming, milling, and grinding. Overtime is compensated at time and a half on weekdays and at double rate on weekends. Flexible part‑time arrangements are available.

- Normal Working Hours: 7.30 am – 4 pm Mon – Thurs & 7.30 am – 1 pm Friday.
- 33 days holiday per annum.
- Signing on Bonus: £1,000 – £500 paid after 6 months and 12 months of service.
