We are partnering with a people-focused organisation based in Glasgow to recruit an experienced HR Adviser to join their collaborative HR team. The role offers a varied generalist remit with a strong emphasis on supporting managers through effective training, developing accessible learning resources, and enhancing people processes across the organisation. Alongside managing employee relations casework, the successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening management capability through the delivery of engaging training sessions, maintaining and improving learning platforms and SharePoint resources, and helping to embed best practice across the wider business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a broad range of employee relations casework, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and performance matters.
  • Provide practical, people-focused HR advice and guidance to managers across a range of generalist HR issues.
  • Design and deliver engaging training sessions and workshops to build manager confidence and capability.
  • Support the ongoing development and maintenance of learning platforms and HR resources, including SharePoint content.
  • Create and continuously improve learning materials, toolkits, and guidance documents to support managers and employees.
  • Identify trends and development opportunities arising from casework and implement targeted learning solutions.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with employment legislation and best practice.
  • Support wider HR and people initiatives focused on employee engagement, wellbeing, learning, and culture.
  • Build strong and collaborative relationships across the organisation, promoting a positive and supportive employee experience.
Essential Criteria
  • Previous experience within a generalist HR role, with strong exposure to employee relations casework.
  • Experience designing and delivering training or learning initiatives for managers and/or employees.
  • Experience managing or updating learning platforms, intranet systems, or SharePoint resources.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working independently within a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive and solutions-focused approach, with a genuine passion for people development and continuous improvement.
