We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Management Accountant to join the Group Finance Team, supporting a portfolio of group companies including a rapidly growing digital infrastructure business. This is a key role responsible for delivering accurate monthly management accounts while acting as a Finance Business Partner to operational stakeholders. This position offers the opportunity to work within a structured finance environment, influence decision-making across the business, and contribute to continuous improvement in reporting, processes, and financial control.

Working Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Core hours: 9:30am - 4:00pm, Fully office based, Flexible working in line with business needs

The Role:

  • Produce accurate and timely management accounts while supporting stakeholders across the business with financial insight, analysis, and guidance.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts for designated group companies.
  • Review and post monthly journals, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Support the month-end close process to ensure timely reporting.
  • Review monthly and quarterly VAT returns.
  • Act as a Finance Business Partner to departmental and operational teams.
  • Work with budget holders to explain financial performance, variances, and trends.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow planning processes.
  • Assist with cashflow forecasting and VAT reconciliations.
  • Support ad-hoc projects across the wider Group.
  • Contribute to improving financial processes, reporting, and controls.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider finance team to maintain efficient and consistent processes.

About You:

  • CA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Experience in a management accounting role, ideally within a multi-entity environment.
  • Strong understanding of VAT and CIS.
  • Experience with Sage Intacct, Re-Leased, or CaseWare desirable.
  • Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyse and interpret financial data.
  • Confident communicator with a strong business partnering approach.
  • Comfortable working with stakeholders across different levels of the business.
  • Highly organised with strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented.
