Housekeeper at Newton House Care Home. At Hamberley we believe that each resident deserves something “extra special, every day.” We are looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our residents.

What you will be doing:

  • Ensure the supply of clean laundry and provide housekeeping services throughout the home.
  • Maintain all areas of the care home – bedrooms, communal spaces and bathrooms – so they are clean, hygienic and well‑maintained.
  • Handle laundry and linen care with attention to residents’ personal belongings.
  • Interact with residents, offering assistance when needed to help them feel at ease.
  • Maintain housekeeping supplies and report any shortages to the manager.
  • Work closely with caregivers and other staff to support the overall care plan and home operations.

About you:

  • Previous domestic experience in a similar care home setting.
  • Flexible and reliable attitude.
  • Committed to customer care and first‑class service provision.
  • Basic knowledge of Health and Safety COSHH regulations.
  • Empathy and a desire to make a difference to the lives of our residents.
