Your new role

As a Tax Manager, you will lead the firm's business tax offering, managing a varied portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients across a mix of industries. You’ll take responsibility for reviewing corporation tax returns, advising clients on compliance and planning opportunities, and supporting more complex tax queries as they arise. The role offers scope to influence strategy, improve processes, and contribute to the long-term development of the tax function. You will also provide guidance and support to colleagues, acting as a technical expert within the firm.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong experience in business tax within a practice environment, and ideally hold a professional qualification such as CTA, ACCA, or CA; equivalent experience will also be valued.
  • Confidence operating at manager level, comfortable reviewing work, liaising directly with clients, and providing practical, commercially-minded tax advice.
  • Strong technical knowledge, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
