This respected property and construction consultancy has been delivering expert building surveying, cost consultancy, and principal design services across the UK for decades. In late 2024, they partnered with an award-winning principal contractor specialising in retrofit and sustainability – a move that opened new doors while preserving their independent consultancy model. They operate from modern offices in South Lanarkshire and are launching a refreshed website. With the founding directors approaching retirement, the business is looking for fresh talent to shape the next chapter.
The Role
As a Building Surveyor, you will lead and develop the surveying function, working on a variety of commercial projects, supporting retrofit initiatives, and contributing to the strategic direction of the business. You will mentor junior surveyors and collaborate closely with clients and contractors alongside a small, dedicated team of:
- Managing Director with 20 years at the firm
- Graduate surveyor working towards APC
- Trainee surveyor currently studying at college
This is a hands‑on role with real influence – perfect for someone ready to step into leadership while staying close to technical work.
