Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Team Leader to manage a team of five on a permanent basis. The role is based in Inverclyde, with hybrid working (three days in the office, two days from home) and full access to public transport and on-site parking. Working hours are Monday-Friday, 9am–5pm.
Key Duties
- Lead, motivate and develop the Accounts Payable team.
- Manage invoice processing, queries and payment runs to meet deadlines.
- Monitor KPIs, workflows and team performance to ensure service levels are achieved.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial procedures.
- Act as a senior escalation point for complex queries.
- Support process improvement and automation initiatives where appropriate.

- Proven experience in Accounts Payable, including supervisory or team-lead responsibilities.
- Confidence managing workloads, setting priorities and supporting team development in a fast-paced environment.
