Are you eager to land a brand new permanent role? Our client, a mapping agency in London, is looking for an experienced Geovation Technology & Incubator Lead to join their team and play a crucial role in their geospatial data operations.
Position: Geovation Technology & Incubator Lead
Salary: £70,000 - £84,647 per annum including London Weighting (dependent on experience)
Contract: Permanent
Hybrid Working: 2-3 days in the office
Duties:
- Leading a group of employees (technical & non-technical) and delivering the Geovation's Incubator Programme.
- Identify which startups and partners to work with, shaping bespoke support packages tailored to their needs.
- Design and oversee hypothesis‑led proof of concept experiments that deliver tangible learning and value creating, meaningful IP for startups.
- Develop and lead agile, design‑led and sprint‑based development programmes within the Incubator, with clear outputs and learning objectives.
Job Requirements:
- A strong technical background with at least 5‑10 years of experience of geospatial and/or software development.
- Experience mentoring, coaching or advising startups, founders or product teams.
- At least 2‑3 years of experience of working in or supporting early‑stage startups, leading to clear understanding of founders’ needs and credibility.
- Background in programme management or delivering externally funded programmes.
- Product‑led and design‑thinking mindset; able to flex between product, technical and strategic approaches.
- Exposure to geospatial technologies, data or location‑powered applications.
