Our client is a very successful, unique, international engineering company who manufacture bespoke machinery for a large portfolio of customers throughout the UK. The operation in Thetford employs 80 dedicated and loyal staff and the company is riding high at the moment with an annual turnover of over 20 million pounds per year.

Due to continued growth and internal promotion, a General Administrative Assistant is required to work alongside purchasing, sales, finance and HR. The role is varied and includes the following responsibilities:

  • Inputting Purchase ledger invoices, reconciling purchase statements, checking GRNI, chasing invoices not received, progress chasing
  • Collecting and inputting production hours from time sheets, recording non-productive hours
  • Updating holiday/sickness spreadsheets
  • Printing spare and service invoices and emailing to customers
  • General Sales activity including email sales ledger statements, credit control, invoice queries
  • Ordering stationery, answering phone

The position would suit someone ideally from a manufacturing/engineering/warehousing/construction or similar environment who has performed a variety of administrative tasks, including solid use of MS Office suite (particularly Excel).

Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm

Salary to suit experience
