The Role

As a Science Teacher, you will inspire students to explore and understand scientific concepts across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. You will deliver engaging lessons that encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and academic achievement while supporting students in reaching their full potential. This opportunity is ideal for experienced teachers and ECTs/NQTs looking to further their career in a supportive and dynamic school environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stages.
  • Inspire students to develop curiosity and confidence in scientific enquiry.
  • Teach a broad Science curriculum, including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress and attainment.
  • Support students in preparation for exams and academic success.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to departmental and school initiatives.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS.
  • PGCE or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum.
  • Passion for Science education and student development.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • ECTs/NQTs are encouraged to apply.
