SANZA Teaching Agency, part of Tradewind Recruitment, is currently recruiting experienced and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) for full-time positions in Hackney primary schools starting this September. We are partnering with a range of supportive and forward-thinking schools across Inner London who are looking for confident HLTAs to play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school.

The Role:

  • Support teachers in delivering high-quality lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
  • Lead small group interventions and targeted support sessions
  • Cover whole classes when required (planned teacher absence/PPA cover)
  • Assist in planning, preparing, and adapting learning materials
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress
  • Promote positive behaviour and a safe learning environment
  • Work closely with teachers and senior leadership teams

What We're Looking For:

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience (essential)
  • Experience working in a primary school setting
  • Confidence in leading whole-class learning when required
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • A proactive, flexible, and supportive approach
