Monarch Education is currently recruiting for enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Teachers to take on supply (cover) roles across a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools in Frome. These opportunities are ideal for teachers seeking flexible working, varied classroom experience, and the chance to work across different school settings from September 2026.
About the Role
As a supply teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across the primary age range, ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of the class teacher. You'll have the opportunity to work in a variety of schools, gaining valuable experience while making a positive impact on pupils' education.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all pupils
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and engagement
- Uphold school policies and procedures during placements
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching within a primary school setting
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A flexible, reliable, and proactive approach
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A valid DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
