Our client is a small family‑run organic dairy farm milking 120 Jersey cows, with an on‑farm diversified milk processing facility. They are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Dairy Herdsperson to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about animal welfare and enjoys working within an organic farming system as part of a supportive family business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Milking, scraping, and general herd work
  • Calf rearing
  • Tractor and telehandler operations
  • Foot trimming
  • Calf disbudding
  • Artificial insemination (AI) – experience advantageous, although training can be provided for the right candidate

Candidate Requirements

  • Enjoys working with livestock
  • Strong stockmanship skills and commitment to animal welfare
