We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Yard Operative based in Wolverhampton. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for full time work with the potential to secure a permanent position after a successful temporary period.
Duties will include:
- Operating within a busy yard environment
- Loading and unloading goods safely
- Using simple despatch software systems for stock and order processing
- Handling materials and preparing orders for dispatch
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working area
- Supporting warehouse and yard operations as required
Requirements:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
- Combi Lift licence preferred but not essential
- Previous yard or warehouse experience preferred
- Basic computer skills and confidence using simple despatch software
- Good attention to detail and ability to work independently
