Proactive Personnel are currently looking for a forklift Driver to start work immediately in Preston, PR2.

Duties include:

  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
  • Manage materials handling tasks, ensuring accurate placement and retrieval of goods.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including verifying deliveries and preparing items for dispatch.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy using warehouse management systems.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
  • Valid Counterbalance licence.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Strong materials handling skills with the ability to load & unload efficiently.
  • Good understanding of shipping & receiving procedures.
  • Basic maths skills for inventory counts and measurements.
  • Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks and prolonged periods on foot.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 08:00am-16:00pm. Pay is £14.50 an hour.
