Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver to work for a well-established manufacturing business based in Leicestershire. This is expected to be a temp to perm position.

The Job:

  • They are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to work in their Finished Goods team.
  • You will be responsible for working in a team to manage the goods storage in the warehouse and to prepare the loading area to fulfil production demands.
  • You will have a number of other tasks and responsibilities to adhere to, which can include:
    • Moving pallets around the facility.
    • Preparing loading areas in line with loading schedule documentation.
    • Identifying and reporting any damages or quantity issues.
    • Loading trucks if needed.
    • Operating a forklift and other MHE equipment once trained after being signed off to do so.
    • Stock taking when required.
    • Keeping on top of housekeeping.

There are 1 shifts available - Afternoons (Apply online only). Salary £13ph.

The Person:

  • Proven experience in a warehouse or manufacturing role.
  • Previous experience driving a counterbalance forklift and National licence.
  • Happy to work on either a morning shift or afternoon shift.
  • Access to own transport due to lack of public transport at certain shift times.
