Fortus Recruitment are a recruitment company that specialise in placing people within the repairs & maintenance industry. We are currently looking for an experienced Fire Stopping Contracts Manager to join a growing passive fire protection team delivering projects across the UK.

The Role

The successful candidate will oversee fire stopping projects from initial mobilisation through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with compliance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Managing multiple passive fire protection projects
  • Supervising site teams and subcontractors
  • Carrying out quality inspections and ensuring compliance
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Managing programmes, reporting, and project delivery
  • Maintaining high standards across all works on site

Requirements

  • Strong background in fire stopping / passive fire protection
  • Previous experience in contracts or project management
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple live projects
  • FIRAS / BM TRADA knowledge desirable
  • Full UK driving licence required
