We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire & Security Project Manager to join a well-established fire and security specialist operating across London and the surrounding areas. This is a senior delivery role responsible for managing projects from initial start‑up through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The role is suited to a confident project professional with strong technical knowledge of fire and security systems and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Managing the full project lifecycle from start‑up through to completion
  • Planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing projects
  • Creating and maintaining project plans, programmes, and work breakdown structures
  • Managing day‑to‑day project activities and priorities
  • Leading project meetings with clients, suppliers, and third parties
  • Providing regular progress updates internally and to clients
  • Managing project risks, issues, scope, and change control
  • Negotiating internally and externally to resolve project challenges
  • Producing and maintaining project initiation and management documentation
  • Ensuring consistent and effective resource planning
  • Being hands‑on when required to ensure successful delivery and client satisfaction
  • Completing full project handover to clients upon completion

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a Fire & Security Project Manager or Project Engineer stepping up
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles and methodologies
  • Experience managing the full project lifecycle
  • Background within the fire and security or construction industry
  • Previous experience working with CCTV, Access Control, and related security systems
  • Relevant qualifications such as FIA, NSI, LPCB, City & Guilds (desirable)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and lead teams effectively
  • Strong organisational skills and self‑motivation
  • Ability to present complex information to both technical and non‑technical audiences
