A well-established and growing fire safety consultancy is seeking a Fire Risk Assessor to join their expanding technical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Fire Risk Assessor at either an experienced level or someone looking to further develop their career within the fire safety industry. The successful Fire Risk Assessor will join a supportive consultancy delivering high-quality fire risk assessments across a diverse portfolio including residential, commercial, healthcare, education, and mixed-use projects.
Whether you are an experienced Fire Risk Assessor or developing your technical knowledge, ongoing training and professional development will be fully supported by an experienced technical management team, alongside full administrative and technical backing.
The Fire Risk Assessor's Role
The Fire Risk Assessor will be responsible for carrying out Type 1 and Type 3 Fire Risk Assessments across a broad range of properties throughout the region. The Fire Risk Assessor will provide clear and concise reports, identify fire safety risks, and offer practical recommendations in line with current legislation and guidance. The Fire Risk Assessor will work closely with clients, housing providers, managing agents, and commercial stakeholders, maintaining strong professional relationships and ensuring compliance standards are achieved.
The Fire Risk Assessor should ideally have:
- A Level 3 or Level 4 Qualification in Fire Risk Assessment
- Previous experience carrying out Fire Risk Assessments
- Strong knowledge of current fire safety legislation and guidance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Membership with IFSM, IFE or FRA would be beneficial
