The Finance & Strategic Business Reporting Partner will act as a key liaison between Finance, Risk and Business Reporting function and operational directorates, providing advice on financial impacts, risks, opportunities and organisational performance to support informed decision making. The position can be based in either London, Manchester, Cardiff, Darlington, Edinburgh or Belfast.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the production, interpretation and dissemination of management information across finance, workforce, delivery and risk to support decisions, identify trends and drive measurable business performance.
- Leading annual budget planning and allocations and support robust in-year financial management, forecasting, accruals and planning across complex budgets.
- Providing strategic business partnering to senior leaders on financial management, resource planning, operational issues and workforce decisions.
- Working with Business Reporting on balanced scorecards and performance metric analysis, turning performance insight into clear actions that improve delivery.
Qualifications:
- The successful Finance & Strategic Business Reporting Partner will be CCAB Qualified, or actively studying towards qualification.
- You will have strong quantitative and analytical capability, including advanced use of Excel for data manipulation, analysis, modelling and reporting, with demonstrable experience of producing and using high quality cross-functional management information and performance reporting to support senior decision making.
- Experience of managing complex budgets and producing high quality financial data, information and reports is essential.
- Due to the nature of this role, you will need to be SC security cleared.
Job Offer:
A salary of 61,300 - 68,800 is on offer for this 13 month Fixed Term Contract, plus an excellent package. This role is hybrid and will require 40% attendance in an office in either London, Cardiff, Manchester, Darlington, Edinburgh or Belfast.
