An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst to join a dynamic and fast‑paced commercial finance team. Reporting to the Senior Commercial Finance Manager, this role plays a pivotal part in delivering insight and analysis to support trading decisions across Buying, E‑commerce and Supply Chain. The role combines strong financial reporting with true business partnering, helping shape day‑to‑day performance and long‑term strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily, weekly and monthly trading analysis, identifying risks and opportunities and providing actionable insights.
- Conduct promotional and margin analysis, pricing modelling, and competitor comparisons.
- Own key reporting processes such as month‑end reporting for workshop channels.
- Partner closely with Buyers and Supply Chain teams on budgeting, forecasting and new product initiatives.
- Contribute to seasonal performance reviews and enhance overall reporting quality.
- Improve processes and ensure data integrity across the business.
Experience and Qualifications
- Part‑qualified or fully qualified accountant.
- Strong commercial awareness and proven business‑partnering experience.
- Retail exposure advantageous but not essential.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with data analysis or BI tools.
- Highly analytical, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
