About the Position

We are currently looking for a reliable and detail-focused Accounts Assistant to become part of our finance department. This role is ideal for an individual who is eager to grow within the accounting field and gain valuable practical experience in a busy yet supportive workplace.

Main Duties

  • Accurately processing invoices, receipts, and payments
  • Assisting with bank reconciliations and maintaining up-to-date financial records
  • Supporting the preparation of monthly and yearly financial reports
  • Handling accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
  • Ensuring all financial procedures and company policies are followed correctly

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience within an accounts or finance role is advantageous
  • Strong numerical ability and analytical thinking skills
  • Competent in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • High level of accuracy with excellent organisational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • AAT qualification, or currently studying towards one, would be beneficial but is not essential
