We are seeking a skilled mechanically biased Field Service Engineer to join our growing engineering team, covering customer sites across the Midlands area. This role is ideal for a mechanical engineer with a strong industrial background, particularly within environments such as print, paper, food, plastics, pharmaceutical, injection moulding, or similar manufacturing sectors. Experience in distribution or recycling is highly desirable, though strong engineers from other regulated or industrial environments are encouraged to apply.

The role will require you to travel to customer sites across the Midlands area carrying out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance on an array of automated machinery. The base salary is for your core hours but the nature of the role will require you to work overtime on a regular basis as the company ethos is set around your day is done when your work is done, with this in mind your realistic OTE will be around £70,000, all travel and expenses are also paid for. This is a high level role within an extremely reputable company that can offer unlimited progression through several different department routes.

Requirements for the Field Service Engineer:
  • Mechanical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Mechanical fault-finding experience.
  • Engineering qualification (Mechanical).
  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience working as a Maintenance or Service Engineer in the UK.
  • Happy to travel and sometimes stay away.
  • Be very strong mechanically.
