We are looking for a qualified and experienced Electrician to work across a range of domestic and commercial properties. This role involves a mixture of maintenance, installation, and compliance testing and requires the ability to work to a high standard.
Job Description
- Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance in domestic and commercial settings
- Complete new electrical installations, upgrades, and refurbishments
- Undertake fire alarm testing and ensure systems meet relevant safety regulations
- Conduct emergency lighting tests and report any faults or required repairs
- Fault-find, diagnose issues, and provide practical solutions
- Maintain accurate documentation, including test certificates and job reports
- Ensure all work is completed in line with current electrical standards and health & safety guidelines
Personal Specification:
- Fully qualified Electrician (e.g., NVQ Level 3, AM2, or equivalent)
- Enhanced DBS (valid within 12 months)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Experience across domestic and commercial environments
- Strong understanding of testing and inspection processes
- Full UK driving licence
- Good communication skills and a professional, approachable manner
- Testing & Inspection qualification (2391 or equivalent)
- Experience with fire alarm installation/maintenance
- Previous work within facilities, maintenance, or project-based roles
