We are seeking a competent and experienced CNC Turner, capable of programming, setting, and operating CNC Lathes. The successful candidate will oversee the workflow in the workshop, ensuring that customer deadlines are met and will work closely with the Engineering Manager to solve problems and manage all aspects of the Turning Department.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Program, set, and operate CNC Lathes.
- Assist and guide less experienced CNC Turners.
- Manage the workflow through the workshop to meet customer deadlines.
- Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to address and resolve issues.
- Oversee and ensure the efficient operation of the Turning Department.
- Maintain high standards of work and safety protocols.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner with the ability to program, set, and operate CNC Lathes.
- Experience in a managerial role or strong potential and desire to take on such a role.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.
- Commitment to quality and precision.
