The PCB Assembler Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PCB Assembler to join our growing manufacturing team in Farnborough. In this role, you will be responsible for the intricate assembly of components and will be putting your electromechanical assembly skills to excellent use.

Responsibilities:

  • Soldering a wide range of PTH components to IPC or J-STD standards (Class 2 & 3)
  • Assembling simple cables, small mechanical builds, and enclosures
  • Following build instructions and manufacturing drawings accurately

Experience of the PCB Assembler:

  • Desirable: Experience soldering to IPC or J-STD standards
  • Essential: Comfortable with a mix of manual assembly and operating soldering equipment
  • Essential: Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality
  • Essential: Ability to read and follow technical drawings and production documentation
  • Desirable: Previous experience in a manufacturing or electronics environment
