Wiring / Electro mechanical Assembly Operatives urgently required to work for a leading electronics organisation based near Portsmouth. We are looking for experienced Operatives with a knowledge and experience with a range of electronic assemblies and applications. You will be working within a fast paced team where you will take on a range of tasks including wire harness assembly, cable looms, soldering, connector termination, and system builds using engineering drawings and schematics.
The Role:
- Build wire harnesses and cable assemblies
- Assemble prototype electrical systems and control panels
- Read schematics and wiring diagrams
- Perform soldering and connector termination
- Carry out continuity and basic electrical testing
- Work with engineers to resolve wiring issues
Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
- 2+ years experience in electrical or electronic assembly
- Experience with crimp tools, soldering irons, wire strippers, and multimeters
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail
- IPC certifications such as IPC WHMA-A-620 or IPC J-STD-001 (Preferable)
