A leading Hampshire-based main contractor with an annual turnover exceeding £70 million is looking to appoint a Senior Site Manager / Project Manager to support the early stages of two newly secured schemes valued between £7 million and £11 million. With a strong pipeline of work scheduled to kick off in Q2 and Q3, this is a critical hire to strengthen their delivery team ahead of a busy year. The business operates across Hampshire, West Sussex and Wiltshire, with upcoming projects positioned in both South and North Hampshire. As such, the ideal candidate will be comfortable working across these regions.
The Role
You will take a leading role in preconstruction input, package setup, and early-stage project planning for two upcoming MOD or leisure sector schemes. Working closely with the operations, commercial and design teams, you'll ensure both projects are set up correctly from day one, before moving into delivery leadership as the schemes break ground.
Ideal Candidate
- Experienced Senior Site Manager or Project Manager with a background in schemes £5m.
- Strong experience in either MOD, commercial or public sector projects.
- Confident working in preconstruction settings and setting up sites/packages.
- Strong communicator with excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Able to travel within Hampshire (Southampton Basingstoke corridor).
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid essential.
