Exciting new opportunity! I am currently working with a clinical laboratory who are looking for a Laboratory Assistant to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Receiving, unpacking, and preparing samples for laboratory analysis
  • Maintaining clean and organised laboratory work areas
  • Assisting with stock control and monitoring consumable levels
  • Supporting laboratory operations and workflow processes
  • Following laboratory procedures and quality standards at all times
  • Recording information accurately and maintaining documentation
  • Supporting health & safety and waste disposal procedures
  • Assisting with packing and dispatching customer orders where required

Requirements:

  • Good attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team
  • Experience in working in fast paced environment such as warehouse, production
  • Degree in science desirable but not essential
