The predicted salary is between 28 - 31 £ per hour.

Salary: £14 - £15 per hour

Hours: Full-time, permanent, daytime shifts

Role Overview

You’ll be responsible for producing a range of steel components, ensuring accuracy and a high standard of workmanship throughout each project.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Setting out materials and fabricating steel parts.
  • Following engineering drawings to deliver precise, customer-specific work.
  • Using workshop equipment such as hydraulic pipe benders, jigsaws, and band saws.
  • Travelling to different locations using company transport.
  • Conducting site assessments when required.
  • Fitting items including ramps, handrails, and similar products on client premises.
  • Inspecting finished items to maintain quality standards.
  • Assisting with groundwork tasks, such as laying concrete flags.

What We’re Looking For

  • Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings.
  • Good physical fitness due to manual aspects of the job.
  • A clean, valid UK driving licence (up to 3 points acceptable) and your own vehicle.
  • Background in steel fabrication or installation is an advantage.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a small team.
