Key Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering creative, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework.
- Supporting children's development across all areas of learning, including communication, social skills, and early literacy/numeracy.
- Creating a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
- Observing, assessing, and tracking pupil progress in line with EYFS expectations.
- Building strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues.
- Contributing to the wider school community and EYFS provision.
Requirements
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
- Have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Demonstrate a nurturing and child-centred approach to teaching.
- Have excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Be committed, enthusiastic, and reflective in your practice.
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).
- Provide professional references and have the legal right to work in the UK.
