Are you a passionate and nurturing Early Years teacher ready to inspire young learners at the very start of their educational journey? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Grimsby. This is a full-time, long-term position starting in May 2026, and the school is open to applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as experienced practitioners.

The Role

  • As an EYFS Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping children's early learning experiences, creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and delivering creative, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Supporting children's development across all areas of learning, including communication, social skills, and early literacy/numeracy.
  • Creating a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
  • Observing, assessing, and tracking pupil progress in line with EYFS expectations.
  • Building strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues.
  • Contributing to the wider school community and EYFS provision.

Requirements

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
  • Have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Demonstrate a nurturing and child-centred approach to teaching.
  • Have excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Be committed, enthusiastic, and reflective in your practice.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).
  • Provide professional references and have the legal right to work in the UK.
