We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Export & Logistics Coordinator to join our logistics team. This is a key position responsible for ensuring customer orders are shipped efficiently, compliantly, and on time across international markets.
The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of export procedures, shipping documentation, customs regulations, and international logistics coordination. You will play an important role in maintaining high standards within the logistics function while delivering excellent service to both internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and process export shipments to ensure customer delivery requirements are met.
- Liaise with the sales team to process orders and manage export documentation.
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and customs requirements.
- Carry out export compliance audits and sanctions checks for new customer accounts.
- Prepare shipping and customs documentation for international shipments.
- Generate documentation for dangerous goods shipments.
- Coordinate shipments via sea, air, and road freight.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, overseas agents, and suppliers to arrange shipments.
- Calculate freight costs and support logistics planning.
- Use D365 for order picking, despatch, and invoicing activities.
- Use Salesforce and D365 to process customer returns and complaints.
- Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and departmental administration.
- Support a safe, organised, and compliant office environment in line with Health & Safety standards.
- Has previous experience in export coordination, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Possesses strong knowledge of international shipping procedures and customs regulations.
- Has experience preparing export and dangerous goods documentation.
- Is confident working with ERP systems such as D365 and CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- Has excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Can manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Demonstrates strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Works proactively and takes ownership of tasks.
- Has a positive attitude and leads by example.
- Experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Knowledge of export compliance and international sanctions processes.
