We are recruiting Skilled Caravan Operatives for a leading caravan manufacturing business based in East Hull. With multiple vacancies available, we need experienced tradespeople for a fast‑paced, high-quality manufacturing environment. This role offers a long‑term position with a great work‑life balance, working just four days per week.
Roles
- Plumbers
- Electricians
- Carpenters / Joiners
- Panel operators / Laminators
- Flooring and vinyl fitters
- Window and door fitters
- General assembly operatives with trade experience
- Finishing operatives / snagging specialists
Typical Duties
- Plumbing
- Installation of water systems, pipework, pumps, and fittings
- Pressure testing and fault finding
- Installing bathrooms, kitchens, and appliances
- Electrical
- Wiring caravans from first fix through to final fix
- Installing lighting, sockets, control panels, and appliances
- Testing and fault finding to ensure compliance
- Joinery / Carpentry
- Fitting internal furniture, units, and fixtures
- Measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
- Ensuring high‑quality finishes throughout
- Assembly and Build
- Working on production lines building caravan units
- Installing windows, doors, floors, and panels
- Following technical drawings and specifications
- Finishing / Snagging
- Inspecting completed units for quality
- Carrying out remedial work and final touches
- Ensuring products meet customer and company standards
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in caravan manufacturing, modular build, or a relevant trade
- Ability to work from drawings or instructions
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- A proactive and reliable work ethic
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
