Major Recruitment Huddersfield is currently recruiting for an experienced Aluminium Fabricator to join a well-established fabrication business known for producing high-quality products for a wide range of clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong fabrication and welding experience who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a supportive and skilled team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and assemble aluminium and steel components to a high standard.
  • Carry out MIG welding (TIG welding is desirable but not essential).
  • Work accurately from technical drawings and specifications.
  • Inspect finished work to ensure precision, quality, and durability.
  • Follow company production processes and report progress as required.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure projects are completed efficiently.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven background in aluminium fabrication (experience with steel is advantageous).
  • Skilled in MIG welding; TIG experience beneficial.
  • Ability to interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
  • Reliable, flexible, and willing to work overtime when required.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
