We are currently working with a well-established civil engineering consultancy that is seeking a Civil Engineer with a minimum of 2 years experience to join their Cardiff office. The business specialises in civil engineering design for residential developments and is looking for motivated engineers keen to further develop their careers within a collaborative consultancy environment.

The role: you will work on a range of residential infrastructure projects, supporting senior engineers in the delivery of highways, drainage and earthworks designs from planning through to construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design of residential infrastructure schemes
  • Prepare engineering drawings, calculations and reports
  • Design highways and drainage systems
  • Produce plot level strategies and earthworks designs
  • Liaise with clients, local authorities and wider design teams
  • Support project delivery to programme and budget
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years experience within a civil engineering consultancy
  • Residential development experience preferred
  • Knowledge of:
    • Plot levels
    • Highway design
    • Drainage design
  • Proficient in:
    • Flow / MicroDrainage / InfoDrainage
    • Civil 3D or Site 3D
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Motivated and collaborative approach
