Servara Ltd are pleased to be partnering with a respected and expanding plumbing and heating business based in West Devon to recruit an experienced Gas Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, growing team during an exciting period of development. The successful Gas Engineer will cover the geographical area of Mid and West Devon.
Gas Engineer Duties Will Include:
- Attending pre booked appointments within domestic properties
- Carrying out servicing, safety checks and annual maintenance on domestic boilers and heating systems
- Installing boilers, heating systems and ASHP units
- Power flushing heating systems to improve performance and efficiency
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on boilers, heating systems and associated components
- Completing and maintaining accurate job records, certification and compliance documentation on Tradify
- Providing clear advice and guidance to customers on system performance and maintenance
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations
- Carrying out general plumbing repairs to a high standard
The Gas Engineer Will Need:
- A recognised plumbing qualification (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent)
- Current ACS tickets: CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, HTR1, CKR1
- ASHP knowledge and relevant tickets (desirable)
- OFTEC and LPG (desirable)
- Proven experience in a similar domestic gas engineering role for a minimum of 3+ years
- Strong communication skills and a positive, professional work ethic
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- A clean and valid driving licence
