The Role:
The European Financial Controller is a key role with this successful manufacturer and will have a dual reporting line into both the UK and US. Take responsibility for the financial compliance and reporting to tight deadlines. Lead the completion of monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close and consolidation procedures while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Use effective leadership and communication skills to manage the monthly budget and forecasting to include the EU and one other international site. Work with a business partnering approach across all divisions and work cross‑functionally with operations and commercial teams.
The Candidate:
You are a fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified Financial Controller ideally with a manufacturing background and international exposure would be highly beneficial. An effective communicator at all levels, you have sound leadership skills with the ability to liaise successfully right across a business including their European and international hubs. Good project management, analytical and organisational skills are essential as is the ability to form excellent working relationships with both finance and non-finance colleagues. Given the management responsibilities, you will ideally be in a position to be present in the office 5 days, although some hybrid options may be negotiable.
