The Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a Technical Skills Coach specializing in Plumbing and Gas to join their Apprenticeship Department at Slough & Langley College. This is a full‑time permanent role with a salary of £1,096 to £1,165 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Support and mentor a caseload of Plumbing and Gas apprentices across the Slough and Langley campus.
  • Coach learners to develop skills, knowledge and behaviours, helping them succeed in the workplace and achieve their end‑point assessments.
  • Work closely with apprentices and employers, carrying out regular progress reviews and using digital tools such as e‑portfolios and Microsoft Teams to track development and ensure compliance with funding and audit requirements.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 qualification in Plumbing and Heating, with Gas qualifications (CCN1 and CENWAT) and an Assessor Award (CAVA/A1) or willingness to work towards one.
  • Experience supporting apprentices in a training or education environment, ideally with a teaching qualification or background in curriculum delivery.
